Heidi Loutzenhiser got started in Healthcare as a Software Support Coordinator for Managed Care software at a MedicaLogic client, MedPartners. In 1997, Heidi was assigned as the technical lead for a MedPartners national pilot installation of Logician in which she worked closely with physicians and clinic staff to configure and customize the system. Her interest in the inner workings of EMR led her to MedicaLogic's Advantage Support in May of 1998. Heidi has an exceptionally varied work history, including espresso machine repair, cake decorating, and 5 years working for a local micro-brewery. Her educational background is equally varied, including two years studying languages and Art History in Siena, Italy and Tubingen, Germany while travelling extensively throughout Europe. In her spare time, you will find Heidi hiking in the Columbia Gorge, visiting her Mom on the Oregon coast, or climbing a local peak with her Dad and her dog, Mathilda. Heidi is a member of the Logician Engineering Department.
